One day
I discovered
the allure of
spontaneity.
What adventure it is
in the not knowing!
What a thrill
to really live
from one minute
to the next!
To be caught
by utter surprise
and completely
trust in
His plans,
His power,
to not trust
in myself
or
my own abilities
above His,
to calm
my agitated heart
and deeply, truly
rest
in Jesus
alone.
That,
my dear friends,
is truly living.
